Many of these trials prove downright unsustainable. Some of them are great in hindsight, but aren’t really tailored to our personal vision for the long haul. - Switch it up
Using variations in exercises will keep you from plateauing whether your looking to build strength, lose weight, and everything in between. - Do what you enjoy
Usually we have to make ourselves exercise or eat better, so it’s not always going to be a joy, but rather an exercise (pun intended) in discipline. That being said, there will be some things that you actually enjoy – go hard on those and reap the benefits! - Start in Moderation
Overhauling our entire lifestyle to get fit can seem like a daunting task which prevents many from even getting started. We’ve found it very effective to start, if need be, with just one day and week and grown from there! - Walk, walk, walk
Our bodies are hardwired for walking and the benefits are immense. Walk as much as you can to your local destination or at least use the treadmill to get the body moving. This applies to hardcore athletes as well as those with a more sedentary lifestyle. - Take care of your mind
Doing things to create peace and clarity in the mind goes a long way in improving your physical well-being. There is no doubt that the body affects the mind and the mind affects the body. Use that knowledge to your advantage by incorporating lifestyle changes that promote stress-reduction and calm in the mind.
